Reminder about Golf Tryouts!

Are you in 8th grade to 11th grade and may be interested in trying out for marching band color guard or dance line? If so, the band is offering free lessons well in advance of tryouts to give everyone a better and longer chance to learn. If you are interested, please see mrs. deloach in the band room at the end of the school day for the information. Anyone that meets the tryout eligibility guidelines is welcome to come learn and hopefully then tryout in the spring. You do not have to be in band to try out for these 2 groups. Practices start Oct 22nd, so please get your information asap to give yourselves enough time to make arrangements to stay and get started early!.

Our 1st PAC meeting and Math night was a huge success! Thank you all for coming out!

Our 6th graders have been doing a gallery walk to learn about the Founding Fathers and their role in the Constitution.

Hello, Boys Basketball Parents! We will have a **parent meeting tomorrow, October 6, at 6:00 PM** in the **W.F. Burns Middle School gym**.

Tonight’s football game has been cancelled due to the tragic event involving a Handley Middle School student.

Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the student's family, Handley Middle School, and the entire Tiger family during this incredibly difficult time.

The WFB Football game tonight against Handley has been CANCELED.

W.F. Burns Middle School will be hosting the Health Heroes Annual Flu Vaccine Clinic on Friday, October 23rd! 💉🩺

Parents/guardians, please be on the lookout for flu vaccine consent forms coming home with students in the next few days. If you would like your child to participate, please complete and return the consent form according to the instructions provided.
