Here is everything you need to know for a successful day:
💵 Concessions: Don't forget to send some cash with your student if they want to grab snacks or drinks from the food truck!
📝 Attendance: Just a reminder that May Day is a regular school day. If your student isn't participating in the events, they are still required to be at school—otherwise, it will count as an absence.
👟 Dress Code: Wear sneakers and PE clothes! Pack your Crocs or slides for the water zone, but you must switch back to sneakers when you're done. Shorts and skirts must extend beyond the fingertips when arms are held at the sides or reach mid-thigh, whichever is longer.
🎒 Pack Your Bag: Bring a towel and a spare set of clothes. No swimwear allowed, so plan your "get wet" outfit accordingly!
👕 Shirts: Student shirts are coming to homeroom tomorrow. Parents, pick yours up at the office or they will be sent home tomorrow with your student.
🙋♂️ Volunteers: See you at 8:30 AM for setup!
Let’s have an awesome day! ☀️✨
The caps are ready, the gowns are pressed, and the big moment is finally almost here.

Today, Chambers County Schools is taking a moment to celebrate the incredible healthcare heroes who keep our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn.
Our school nurses are so much more than just keepers of the bandages and ice packs. They are:
🔹First responders in moments of need.
🔹Compassionate listeners for students feeling under the weather.
🔹Health educators promoting wellness across our district.
🔹The steady hands that keep our classrooms thriving and resilient.
To our nurses across every campus in the county: Thank you for your tireless dedication, your expertise, and the heart you bring to our hallways every single day. We couldn't do it without you!

Today, the Central Office team is trading our usual professional attire for every shade of green to show our support for Mental Health Awareness Day.
Mental health isn't just a "personal" issue—it’s a human one. By wearing green, we’re sending a clear message:
You are not alone. * It’s okay to not be okay. * Support and kindness are always in style. We are proud to foster a workplace that prioritizes well-being, open conversations, and mutual support. Let's continue to look out for one another today and every day.
