We have been in contact with the Chambers County EMA this morning concerning expected conditions for tomorrow. With the current travel conditions and the uncertainty of travel conditions in the morning, Chambers County Schools will be closed tomorrow January 23rd, for students and staff. No new work will be assigned. We plan to resume normal school operations on Friday.

After consulting with EMA and multiple weather outlets, Chambers County Schools will close on Friday, January 10. While forecasts can never be certain, it is vital that our decision is made to protect the safety and well-being of each student. As temperatures continue to drop this week, we are encouraging our students to dress in warm, clothing. This does include them being able to wear school appropriate jeans and winter jackets. We want our students warm, especially on buses.
