In a exciting initiative to promote reading and library responsibility, WFB is hosting a special drawing on December 13th that challenges students to take an active role in their reading journey. Throughout November and December, students have been encouraged to engage with the library and demonstrate their commitment to reading by carefully maintaining their borrowed books. This unique opportunity rewards students who have participated in the reading initiative program, with one important catch: to be considered for the drawing, students must not only have been part of the reading challenge but also be present at school on December 13th. The drawing serves as a motivational tool, inspiring young readers to explore new books, care for library resources, and develop a sense of accountability for their literary adventures. By creating this reading initiative, WFB hopes to spark enthusiasm for reading and show students that their dedication to learning can be both educational and rewarding.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff members who generously donated to make this drawing possible. Their support means so much to our students.
WFB had a couple special guests this morning who braved the cold, wind and rain to welcome students to school. The magic is real...at WFB!
