The last day to donate is Thursday, Dec 5th! Please make sure to have all donations in by 12:00PM! WFB is hosting a Christmas gift drive to support the BigHouse, a nonprofit group that provides services for foster care and adoptive families in our area. If you are able, we are accepting new, unwrapped gifts for ages 18 and under. We would like the gifts to be around $15-$20 but not over $40 to maintain an equal shopping experience for all families. Any donations should be turned in at the library. Sign in when you donate. If you decide to donate two items, be sure to sign in twice! The HR with the most participation will win a breakfast party!

The yearbook staff has been working incredibly hard at WFB, and to celebrate their efforts, Mrs. Sorrells organized some fun events for them in the library for Halloween. They enjoyed baking goodies to share with one another, had a candy swap, and even learned how to draw a haunted house. We are so thankful for our yearbook staff and all that they do!

In October, we launched a reading incentive to encourage students to visit the library, check out books, and return those books on time. We are thrilled to share that this campaign was a huge success! We witnessed many students taking time out of their day to explore new books and show responsibility by returning them by the due date. As part of the incentive, every student who returned a book had their name entered into a drawing for a tote filled with candy. Congratulations to Jacob Weldon, our lucky winner for October! We are excited to continue this reading incentive through November and December. Our goal is to boost our students' enthusiasm for reading and help them develop strong library habits.
